Warning: Do not open emails titled ‘Tax Agent Report – Delayed Tax Return’

This email contains malware and comes from an ato.gov.au email address

The ATO has reported that their email extension is being used in a phishing scam. Be wary of emails from:

• Australian Taxation Office
• Australian Taxation Office – CAS_no_reply@ato.gov.au
• CAS_no_reply@ato.gov.au

If you have received this email please do not open the attachment as it contains malware that can damage your computer. Delete the email immediately.

The ATO will be announcing a new email address next year to from which send out ‘Tax Agent Report – Delayed Tax Return’ and ‘Lodgement Program Performance Summary’ emails.
